Supply Drive with the SPCA: Creating Cat Toys

The SPCA, a local animal shelter in Philadelphia, not only looks for ways to get involved with protecting stray animals, but with community engagement events. The Animal Leadership Club and the Philly Pet Pantry collaborated with the SPCA to host a school-wide drive to collect cardboard paper towel and toilet paper rolls to donate to the shelter. These rolls will be made into cat toys for shelter animals for stimulation and enjoyment. Additionally, these rolls will be used in community engagement events, for visitors and groups to make cat toys. We hope to continue collaboration projects in the future!
